Still a recluse I've returned to using familiar and favourite physical mediums for my abstract sketching.  The brush and tee square in the background were bought 52 years ago when I began studying architecture.  I  used propelling pencils then and later when preparing concept backgrounds for an animation  company in 1998.

The goal of this exercise  was to randomly place ruled and hand drawn curved lines on the paper to be the structure for the composition.  I'd then sculpt the shapes created by the intersecting line to invent abstract landscape.  I restricted myself to using only graphite pencil  HB to 6B and the  eraser, as always, was banned!
