The colour scheme for this design was inspired by a You tube video titled 'Contemporary hanbok design: Cheollik Dress and Shamanism Collection by Tchai Kim | V&A'

I was curious to know what the 5 elemental colours used in the design of the Hanbok are and after a simple Google search found this description:-

'Traditional hanbok had vibrant hues that corresponded with the five elements of the yin-and-yang theory: white (metal), red (fire), blue (wood), black (water) and yellow (earth). Colours also symbolised social position and marital status.'
As I use black and white in most of my works I simply created a new schema with the remaining three colours.
My colours are full strength and seemed to fit the design I'd chosen to develop.
