Frequently an image I'm working on will inspire an idea or concept which will direct it's outcome, as if the subconscious mind takes hold of the creative process.
'The Tangled Web' work is an example.
I chose one element (shown in the bottom corner) which I enlarged, rotated, inverted and finally combined to form many shapes. The character of the original element dominated and its tangled mess of lines at the centre inspired the title and a challenge in execution.
