Carousel is an exercise in design - a departure from my previous recent works. It is a cousin to 'Indigo Cylinder' because I used the same elements or motifs in each work. My aim in Carousel' was to create a flat decorative surface without the illusion of a 3rd dimension. I loved working with this particular colour scheme which could easily be varied to create different moods.
