CMYK - Variations
Unfinished business ! - I first worked on this idea in 2019 as a means to test using a CMYK palette (#3). I originally worked with 100% Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black to create the gradients - some of which had transparent sections to create the translucent appearance.
In #1 and 2 I introduced a new colour - Red - the combination of 50% of Yellow and Magenta.
The decision to do this came after I had placed a transparent acrylic print on a red surface. Although I wasn't able to replicate what I saw #4 it was interesting to test whether I could.
