The marquetry like appearance of this work inspired the title 'Inlay'. This composition is based on triangular shapes contrasting with linear arcs. I have used fragments of abstract pastel drawings to render the shapes. These are taken as Raw photos which enables me to enlarge them to suit the digital work. I chose an earth palette to enable strong contrast of tone.
