My interest in pattern making persists. The design was one variation from the Lodestar design I created in 2013. The primary design was produced on metal and is in a private collection. The title came to me at a time when I was looking to establish a new way of creating art.
Perhaps subconsciously the design developed - to be a pointer to the future - a pole star.
It took me some deliberation to name the work - a conscious choice to honour its meaning.
Nearly 10 years on it has re-emerged in a new form.
