Some time ago I began the habit of saving files in case I needed to return to a particular stage. It often happens that the saved version becomes the basis for a variation or an entirely new work.
The starting point for this work was an early saved version of 'syncopated colour'. I reopened the file late last week to see if I could compose the foreground and preserve the essential aspects of the dominant BG.
I have to admit in the end the image took over my thinking and I was relieved when it decided I should stop! For that reason I thought the title 'other worldly' was an appropriate choice.
