The title 'Shaping Blue' describes my intended goal for this experimental work which was to play with the shaper tool in the Illustrator toolbox.
As I worked however it became more than an experiment and reminded me of a lesson I learned as an art student 50 years ago - i.e., when you begin any work imagine that it might be something you'll want to keep. So whether I'm experimenting with my art I always try to keep to best practices. In those days it was not starting a work on scrap paper!
With digital work it is as important as it can be overwhelming working backwards to tidy up the file.
