'Spiral Path' came as a welcome surprise.   I had brought the original work to completion in Illustrator but lost interest in it even though everything had gone to plan.   The decision to place it in Photoshop immediately gave me the freedom to throw caution to the wind and see what might happen.
By creating layers for the various elements and treating some with blends such as 'linear colour',  'divide' and 'difference' the image took on an entirely different look and meaning. So when I looked at this new version I was instantly engaged by it.
So I ask now,  does a work really need to have a narrative or be familiar looking.  Creating by definition should be about bringing into existence and I feel content that I have done this with 'Spiral Path'.
