I prepared these five work to be my entries in the Seeing Stars SKA Art Prize competition held in 2013. I used the digital medium to create them - no photographic material was used. I was inspired by the competition to deviate from my usual preference for abstraction. I drew on vivid memories of twice seeing star filled skies where I had been reminded of the greatness of what is beyond earth. Take Off, Cosmic Crib and Galaxy Unveiled were finalists.
