'Terra' as its name implies is about earth or land or planet. The photo of the volcanic rock which seemed to be microcosm of the natural world, inspired the work. I overlaid mechanical elements - the human element - to contrast with the organic surface.
Giving the shapes an organic treatment is perhaps, my way of achieving a semblance of harmony. These were my thoughts as I worked on this piece. I prefer to use B&W with illustrative work like this one.
