There are times when I want to use as many colours as possible in rendering a free hand design sketch - to 'sculpt' the shapes in the design using the tonal values of each colour to create a sense of light and dark. Creating definition with contrasting colour. I have used coloured pencil for the rendering of this pen drawing.
This is a purely experimental piece.
While working abstract drawings or paintings I like to rotate the piece to gain a new perspective. Sometimes a change or orientation comes as a surprise.
