I've put together this collection 'Time Lapse' to record the early digital art work I created between 1993 and 2001. The original files have been lost so I've had to rely on prints which I made at the time. I've photographed each artwork with my iphone and am satisfied that the quality is the best I can achieve.
As I photographed each work I reflected on how many were abstract compositions, not unlike my current work 20 years later. They were all exercises I set myself to learn Photoshop.
Since c 2000 I have worked exclusively on a PC after a transition period of 2 years working on both platforms.
'The Warrior' (c1993) was the first computer artwork I created on a Bitmap computer - a hand me down Macintosh Classic – 1990. The only record I have is this Dot Matrix print.
