to Keith Jarratt - the finishing touches
In this composition I worked up design using specific abstract lines made with pen, or stick, or bamboo to form shapes which I then rendered in water colour. The use of Indian ink or other permanent ink for the line allows the line to be retained. The water colour is ideal for 'sculpting' the shapes which reveal themselves throughout the process. The title of this work comes from the final stages when the music I listened to was by Keith Jarratt.
