'With No Particular Place to Go'  -  The quote from George Thorogood's lyrics came to mind as I began this work.   With no particular idea or destination in mind I launched into it with the few random lines - shown in the final work.  It seemed the right title for the work.    From that point I constructed groups of square shaped which I then varied, rotated, duplicated and divided into separate parts.
It was a simply design but fun to create.
Perhaps clearing the mind of matter before starting the work may have freed me to follow my instincts.
The shapes I sculpted with gradients made from a simply colour colour palette.
The square format enables the work to be oriented in more than one direction - I hope it works in all ways. The square format enables the work to be oriented in more than one direction - I hope it works in all ways.
